Hi mate. Another awesome day at your lake. What can I say, we had a great time, sunburnt, aches & pains, feet hurt, but that’s a sign of fun packed fishing experience, we will be back for sure.
The gf took the title for different species, as she was just fishing over the side of the bank just with bread on a small rod with our daughter to keep her busy, but it paid off for them. I took the title for the bigger fish with my Biggest, a Siamese Carp, which was one of my target fish, so happy about that. Today was overall quieter for me, but I didn’t give up & got a Walking Catfish at the end, which yet again got away before we could get a pick, number 4 that slivered away over the last 2 days, haha. Pond is an absolute star, and never stopped to do everything she could for us & our daughter, even when our daughter kept asking questions as she was sorting out rigs & that. Anyway, thanks for everything over the last couple of days, we’ll be in touch soon & hopefully we can have a few beers sometime. Robert Miller recommends Loei Jungle Fishing Lake – 25 July 2020
I spent two days at Loei Jungle fishing enjoying the beautiful location , the warm hospitality and of course the amazing fishing.
The fishing was arm aching rod bending nonstop action for both days. It was PB after PB and new species for me. Too many species to list but the highlights were the two biggest Carp easily over 35Kg each and the largest of two Arapaima which was a beautiful red colour with massive girth and length. It fought like they should circling the lake, coming up to gulp air and taking fast runs for its size. An amazing fish which was then named after my girlfriend Seesuda. (who is neither red nor huge).
Also, fun was sight fishing Arowana on a light rod as they fight like mini Tarpon. To sum up, my best freshwater experience ever.
We stayed in the bungalow by the lake. It is very clear that Jez and Pond have put a lot of work and themselves into making this a great experience. Outside endless green rice fields all the way to the mountains, awesome.
I can commend Pond on both her being a keen fishing guide and a wonderful cook. She has endless energy to deliver personal and friendly hospitality for the guests. Recommend with five stars.

Frank S – This place is so lovely, awesome view, nice accommodation very clean, Western standard and tasty food. Jez and his wife take care us so good. I caught 7 different species in one day and they were all in perfect condition. We come as customers and we leave as good friends. We will come back for sure.

5 Star Fishing – One of the best in Thailand
If you like your fishing then I recommend Loei Jungle Fishing Lake, it has some large fish up to 100lbs in the lake, with Arapaimas, alligator garfish, Siamese carp and Mekong catfish, the owners of the lake are a lovely couple, and the food there is great.
We stayed in the onsite bungalow for 2 nights. Very comfortable with English TV and good aircon. Perfect for a nice relaxed fishing trip. Lovely view to wake up to in the morning. My pictures don’t do it any justice

Very nice fishing lake, with big fish 🐠 in it
Me and my Mrs. went there for 2 nights all inclusive.
We had a good time and caught plenty of big fish. I can recommend the place to anyone doing a Thailand trip and wants to get away from the overcrowded hipster and places. Nice place to relax and fish.

Went on 2-day all-inclusive trip to Loei Jungle fishing. Hospitality first Class. Range of species fished unbelievable with some big Giant Mekongs, Arapaima’s and Siamese Carp caught on first day.
